We are a full-service commercial and residential design firm based in Mississippi. Our studio shares a love for interiors, fashion, textiles, art, and design. We formed Mockbee Design Studio so we may engage with the world by offering an updated Southern design style that has a modern feel with bits of period-blending, traveled-style, and eclectic sophistication.
About Us
Carol is a lifelong Mississippian with deep roots in the cultural and artistic communities. She graduated in Interior Design from Auburn University, followed by the completion of the Subrosa Pantheon at the Rural Studio.
Carol inherited a love of storytelling and an understanding of how design, architecture and humanitarianism intersect, from her father - the architect, Samuel Mockbee. After many years in the non-profit and social justice world, Carol is returning to her love of interiors and art. Southern odysseys, outdoor dinners, and being by water are important to her, as well as a good side-conversation at a loud party.
